Mr. S M Rezaul Alam, born on 3rd April 1973, son of Alhaj S M Nazrul Islam, is one of the founding Directors of Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC. After completing his higher education, Mr. Alam joined the family business alongside his elder brothers. His early involvement in the business world laid a solid foundation for his development as a well-rounded and accomplished businessman. He lived in Chattogram from 1996 to 2001, focusing on expanding the family business and introducing innovative strategies and opportunities. His personal and professional insight evolved beyond business leadership, making him a compassionate visionary leader dedicated to uplifting those who lack the resources to dream for themselves.

Mr. Alam played a pivotal role in modernizing the Electrical & Electronics product manufacturing at Walton Group, transitioning from manual operations to automated systems. His relentless pursuit of optimizing production, research & innovation, inventory, and purchase processes significantly enhanced the Group’s overall productivity. As a forward-thinking individual, Mr. Alam ventured into the IT sector in 2015. His efforts and foresight in computer/IoT device manufacturing under the Walton brand have led to a new era for Bangladesh’s Tech industry. His firm commitment to progress has paved the way for manufacturing cutting-edge laptops, desktops, specialized computer peripherals, mobile phones, digital devices, software, surveillance products, e-bikes, and various IoT devices. His dedication has been instrumental in realizing the long-held ambition of transforming Bangladesh into a major IT product manufacturing country.

Hailing from humble beginnings and overcoming numerous obstacles on his path to success, Mr. Alam’s empathy and tenacity have shaped him into a man of action. He has recently initiated a diverse range of ventures under One Direction Companies Limited, including capital & money market business, and marketplace development.
